The Bridge began in 2007 as a church plant of Hope Covenant Church in Chandler, AZ. We grew out of our Founding Pastor’s living room (Kent Bertrand) and occupied Spectrum Elementary School in Gilbert, as well as two store front locations, before arriving at our current campus at 1249 N. Lindsay Rd Gilbert, AZ 85234. Joel Scott, our Lead Pastor, was called to serve alongside the people of The Bridge in January of 2020.
Our motto is The perfect place for imperfect people, because we have always been aware of our own shortcomings and our need to encounter God’s grace in the person of Jesus. Today we are a diverse, multi-generational community that is passionate about following Jesus by adopting his life habits of mission and renewal. We follow Jesus by worshipping together on Sundays, meeting in small groups, as well as through ministry teams, so we can bless each other and the world.
